Welcome to T.A.E.I.L. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our platform, services, and content.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using T.A.E.I.L., you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not access the platform.

Our Platform & Services

T.A.E.I.L. is a pre-registration Canadian not-for-profit building a global community around death, grief, remembrance, preparation, celebration, and mutual care.

The intended platform is planned to provide features including:

• Sanctuary - A private personal space for the living to reflect on life's journey and prepare for the path ahead
• Memorial - A lasting space to remember and celebrate someone who has died, created after a loss or carried forward from their Sanctuary when death is confirmed
• Message from the Afterlife - Pre-recorded messages for future delivery, subject to consent and release controls
• Cherished Moments - Recurring joy through meaningful memories
• The Passing Notification Network - Reducing confusion after death
• When the Time Comes - Preparation tools for practical information

No campaign, contribution route, membership offer, or payment arrangement is currently live. These features remain subject to safeguarding, privacy, technical, legal, and operational review before launch.

Your Responsibilities

As a user of T.A.E.I.L., you agree to:

• Use the Platform Respectfully - Engage in appropriate and respectful behavior
• Maintain Account Security - Keep your login information secure
• Comply with Laws - Follow all applicable laws and regulations

Safeguarding Commitment

Safeguarding is the foundation of everything we do at T.A.E.I.L. We believe that protecting people's wellbeing, privacy, and safety must come before anything else — including growth or development. T.A.E.I.L. will not open to members until safeguarding foundations are in place.

By using our platform, you agree to support these safeguarding principles:

• Respect for All Members - Treat others with dignity and respect
• Confidentiality - Protect sensitive information shared within the community
• Reporting Concerns - Report any issues that may compromise safety

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on T.A.E.I.L. are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

T.A.E.I.L. is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties about the accuracy or reliability of our platform.
